Lisa Wylie, Owner and Principal Consultant
One thing I wish I had when I started my Professional Career
In 3 words, I am Purpose-driven, Supportive & Dedicated. As I reflect on the early stages of my professional career, there is one thing I wish I had had sooner - a coach. Someone to give me the guidance I needed earlier – a relationship that could have eased many of the transitions and challenges I faced.
I have long had a passion for helping others to reach their full potential. I studied Psychology and Philosophy at UWO and applied my understanding of people-development in progressive leadership roles over the past 25 years. In 2016, I earned my Executive MBA at Smith School of Business at Queen's University and traveled to Shanghai to complete my Certificate in Business Fundamentals in China.
I now partner with success-hungry young leaders to help them become the impactful leaders the world sorely needs.
Now, with over five years of consulting and coaching, I focus on enabling optimal performance and career advancements for you.
My curiosity allows me to ask the right questions. By identifying blind spots, you'll find solutions to workplace complexities, barriers, politics and biases. My experience in the corporate landscape brings forward practical solutions and perspectives that will help you achieve your peak performance. When passion and purpose come together, ideas and solutions are inspired.
" The myth of the ‘born leader’ can be a daunting misconception for new leaders. The great news is that truly transformative leadership is a combination of beliefs and behaviours that can be learned. Learning these skills early on allows leaders to be effective from the start and lays the foundation for leadership wisdom to develop. Successful organizations strengthen their future health by nurturing this learning process and growing their own leaders from within."
